You’ve probably heard of 10000 Roses by now. A new attraction is starting to make its way to fame. It is definitely the most-sought café because of the huge buzz in social media especially Facebook. The 10 000 roses café is located at the end of Cordova Tourism Center. It is owned by Miguel Cho an interior designer. It was inspired of the famous Dongdaenum Design Plaza in South Korea. His intention in putting up the cafe is to create a romantic ambience that would be perfect for couples, friends and families.
Aside from the luxurious food in the café, the main attraction of the place is actually the “instagrammable” 10 000 ROSES. The artificial LED white roses planted in the open area with aisle in the middle that divides into two parts. These roses are about 3 feet long that dances with the fresh sea breeze. At around 6 pm the roses will transform into magical lights as it lit ups. The perfect time for the photographers to capture the amazing view of the whole place. The said place is suit to all people, for prenup purposes and even photo-shoots for debut.
Going to the café was initially not costly. The roses along with the café have an entrance fee with P20.00 which is easily affordable. Where do you even find the magical place that cost 20 pesos right? You can freely take pictures as much as you want without dining the expensive café. You just have to arrive early because the roses are free to all so expect various people especially when nights come.
How to get there?
• OPTION 1 – PRIVATE VEHICLE: It’s still best to bring your own vehicle so you won’t have a hard time going back to the city. You can use Waze or Google Maps, just type in “10,000 Roses Cafe Cordova”.
• OPTION 2 – TAXI/UBER/GRAB: Taxi/Uber/Grab ride from the city would cost you around P250-300, good for 4 people.
• OPTION 3 – V-HIRE: From SM City Cebu Terminal, ride a v-hire going to Cordova (P40/pax fare) then drop at Cordova Grandmall. From there, ride a tricycle going to Lantaw (P10/pax fare). 1000 Roses Cafe is just beside Lantaw Cordova.
• OPTION 4 – JEEPNEY: From SM City Cebu Terminal, ride a jeepney going to Parkmall (P7/pax fare). From the Parkmall terminal, ride another jeepney going to Lapu-Lapu City. Take the one with Tamiya/MEPZ 2 and Opon Mercado routes (P7/pax fare). Ask the driver to drop you off at SuperMetro just beside General Milling Corp (P10/pax fare). Then ride another jeepney going to Cordova, at Gaisano Grand Cordova and ride a tricycle to Lantaw or 10,000 Roses Cafe (P10/pax fare).
