Or for a more convenient ride, you can just hail a cab.Everyone at some point in their lives has experienced love, whether they were loved or have loved. Love seems to be the main underlying goal that we all strive for in our lifetimes. It is the one thing that we all, as humans, have in common like how Teodorico Adarna showed his great love for his wife.

Found in Barangay Busay, Cebu City, the Temple of Leah is a 2-floored temple built on a 5,000- square-meter property adorned with marble-covered columns and a nine-foot bronze statue of Leah Adarna herself in the middle that portrays her composure and regal bearing when she was crowned as Teodorico Adarna’s queen. The temple was designed to endure the test of time and has an architecture that can be appreciated by everyone who steps foot inside. It will serve as Cebu City’s landmark for future Adarna generations where they can trace their ancestry and heritage. There’s a family tree posted inside. The temple has 24 chambers. There’s a museum, an art gallery and a library with all the favorite and personal belongings of Leah. Taking inspiration from Greek and Roman architecture, there are statues of gigantic lions, as well as a grand staircase with brass angels.
When we say a place is a tourist attraction. More definitely than not, it has a good view. And when we say a good view, we associate it with a bird’s eye view of a city or a place. Here in Cebu, we could only think of Tops as the place that has that within the city. Recently, my friends and I had a little trip to Temple of Leah . We only planned it for like 2 days. It was kind of spur of the moment decision. Those kinds of plans always come to fruition. Do you agree? And as a comparison, those that have been planned for months are usually the ones that don’t push through Good thing there is a van service now. It is another option for our commuters and it is also a bit convenient, in my opinion. Who’d have thought that you’ll find a slice of Greece in Cebu? Temple of Leah is the perfect place for travelers with a wanderlust for the Mediterranean country. Nestled on top of a hill in Barangay Busay, the grandiose temple boasts Roman architecture and is adorned with Greek statues. Currently, the entrance fee to the place is still the same. For those who want to have it as a venue for professional photography that is intended for wedding and events, management charges Php 2,500 as venue fee.

The temple is open to all visitors on a 24/7 basis, so it does not matter if you go to the place during daytime or nighttime. Some guests would prefer nocturnal visits, as the lights of the place provide a romantic ambiance as compared to daytime when hordes of people surround the place walking around or taking their groufies or selfies.

Once you get to the premises, you will find a lobby surrounded by full-sized porcelain maidens. This serves as the reception area. At the center of a lobby are naked maidens and horses. On the side of the balcony are benches for guests to sit and take a rest. There are also food stalls that are positioned close to the entrance. I’ve been amazed by this majestic temple ( temple of leah ). aside from this is made of undying love to her wife. the constructions, the materials, and the architectural design is very elegant and for sure the amount of money involved in this temple cost a lot. As you step inside the temple, you will feel like you are being transported into a European haven. With its intricate sculptures, wondrous floor design and high pillars, this place will leave your eyes wandering, and give you an urge to snap a jillion of photographs. What’s more, it offers outstanding overlooking views of the city, which for me is the best part of my visit to this place.
And, there’s a lot more to do in Temple of Leah, besides sightseeing and snapping photos. So please visit Temple of leah and enjoying sight.
